    well. In the Penal Days a priest used to say Mass there. There is still to be seen the remains of the Altar at the back of the ditch. There are also fourteen stones which are locally believed to be the Stations of the Cross. There is undecipherable writing on them. At the bottom of the well there is a footprint, believed to be that of St Patrick. This well never goes dry, even during the intense heat of Summer. This well is also a cure for warts.
