“We have a churn at home.”
(continued from previous page)a brash the butter will not come on the milk. People know when the churn is done when the dash comes up clean. When the churn is done you wash the pieces of butter off with cold water. The butter is taken off with a strainer. The buttermilk is used to make porridge and cakes.
