    The Travelling Folk do not bring their food with them. They buy it or beg for it in the town. The do not bring news from distant parts or tell stories as they used to do long ago. The people would not be bothered listening to them, because they can get the latest news from the daily papers and on the radio.
    The same tramps come back periodically. Mary Crosbie, Paddy McCabe and "Paddy Cold Night" come often.
