    There are a number of Forts in the locality in which I live.

    he was cutting a bush in Carn Fort. Another farmer went to level the fort in Derrylea and became demented. It is common belief that it is very unlucky to interfere with a Fort.
    These forts were built by the Danes and used as fortresses when they were being banished from Ireland. They are all supposed to be haunted by the "Good People".
