in the farm occupied by Mrs Blake Leaney. Many people have searched for the treasure but no one has been able to unearth it. A ploughman working in a field adjoining is said to have touched a flat stone with the plough. He heard a hollow noise and afterwards could not find the place where the plough touched the stone. The name of the workman is Mr Sylvester Butler Ballinastrow Tallow Co Carlow.
This treasure is not supposed to be guarded by animals but it is said that lights sometimes appear over it.
