    Names of fields:- The story garden. (Cloragh Ardcarne) so called because it is full of stones.
    The Pound :- (Derrycashel Ardcarne) so called because cattle used to be siezed in it.
    The Kill meadow :- (Cleragh Ardcarne) so called because there was a lime kill in it.
    Collesga field :- (Cleragh Ardcarne).
    The Lime-Kill Park :- (Cleragh Ardcarne) so called because there is lime stone in it
    The whin field : - (Derrycashel Ardcarne) so called because it is full of whins.
    Names of rocks: - Harry's Rock (Corrigeenroe Ardcarne) so called because a giant named Harry threw a rock from Highwood so it fell there, and that is why it is called Harry's flock.
    Names of Hollows :- Foxes hollow (Corrigeenroe Ardcarne) so called because it is full of foxes.
