    To buy some rags of clothes
    To the Depot he's sent off
    'Till the breastmilk leaves his nose
    To barracks he's sent to be content
    Where thruppenny loaves are bought.
    He looks so grand with a cane in his hand
    You'd think he never ate praties and salt.
