    feed and many died after eating. The pot which was at Martin's in Fostragh is now in Pat Clancy's in Cleen. One night during the years of the famine the starving people heard that Micky Horan in Cryanstown was after getting flour from the mill.
    That night they went to Mickey's to steal the flour, but he was prepared for them. He quenched the lamp but didn't lock the front door so as that when they would come in they would think that he was in bed, but he was hid behind the front door armed with a slash hook.
