    night he went to that place, after a few hours of digging he came upon the crock. There was Irish writing on it but he had no knowledge of the language. He sold the gold and got a good price for it. All went well 'til about a month after when a poor scholar came to the house he read what was on the crock and said "The same is on the other side of the rock" The fear a' rige [?] got another crock and they were never poor again..
    Found by Diarmuid Mac Diarmuida, Crossna, Knockvicar, Boyle. He got it from his father.
