- Rockingham House was burned a hundred and twenty years ago. It was rebuilt again. The bricks were got in a field belonging to Pat Dowd of Smutterna. It is still called the "Brickyard." There are still a lot of bricks in the Brickyard. Its fences are mostly built of brick.

East's Mill:
The mill was situated on a little river beside William East's house in Curnagrea. It ceased to work about fifty years ago. People from neighbouring districts brought oats and rye to the mill to be ground.(continues on next page)- Collector
