  2. Once a priest was up on the pulpit, preaching, he said that you could not eat sausages on a Friday. There was a certain man there who used to bring the priest sticks. When the priest told him to bring some sticks, the man brought him a load of sawdust, and the priest said "Sure that is only sawdust" and the man answered "If sausages are meat so is sawdust timber.
