- One day when a man was cutting his hedge a little fairy man came up to him and told him not to cut it because it was joined to a fairy fort. The man said he would cut it because it was he owned it.
As he was cutting it a thorn flew from the hedge and stuck in his eye and after a short time it got blind and from the badness of that eye his two eyes got stone blind. - Once there was a family and they could never churn their butter. So one day a little fairy woman came in and they told her they could not churn their butter. The little woman told them if they placed a little can of milk outside the cowhouse door after milking that their churning would be alright.(continues on next page)
