  1. Cure for a wart: - If you get a piece of straw with a knot at U on it, and if you bury this in clay without telling anybody, is is said that while the piece of straw is rotting, that the wart will be also rotting at the same time.
    Chilblains: - If you paint you chilblains with iodine and then hit your foot up against the fire, it is said that you will never have chilblains again.
