    Clothes Continued.
    The instruments used by the tailor are a machine ,needles,thimbles scissors, big iron and a lapboard.Some years ago the tailors also made shirts but now-a -days they are made in the homes.The shirts are working shirts and are used for work in the farm.These shirts are made from flannel which is obtained in the shops..Some women are very good at shirtmaking .Stockings are also made in the homes.They are4 worn every day ,but a finer stocking is worn on Sunday.This stocking is bought in the shop.Some time ago all the thread used in making stockings was spun from wool from the sheep.There was a spinning wheel in every house -a woollen wheel was the usual one found but also
