    indoors and prepared the breakfast .
    Cakes were also made from the potatoes .Flour was mixed with the mashed potatoes .Melt some butter and put it in the potatoes and add some butter ,salt ,and soda and mix well together .Fry on a lightly greased griddle and serve at once in a hot dish When the meals were ready the table was placed in the midddle of the floor ,and all the family gathered around it.This custom is still continued.

  2. Bread used in olden times was made from potatoes.Also it was made from whole flour which was ground at the mill.Milk ,soda,and salt was used in the making of this bread.It was very wholesome and was better bread than what they eat now-adays.
