  1. A story
Some years ago it is said that there was a ghost in Mothel. There was a man from the mountain who had a bet with another moan from Mothel that he would go to where the ghost was seen. He went under the protection of Quan and Brógán. He saw the ghost and they argued in the Irish language. Then she took up a stone and threw it at him, and she told him that it was well for him that he came under the protection of Quan and Brógán or he would remember that night. Then she vanished in a ball of fire.
