Until I relate the unhappy faith that lately has befell.

It been on the 25th July
Upon that pleasant year.
In the parish school of Cullies.
It plainly does appear.
The master and the scholars.
The monitor and his wife.
Went a boating on Lough Sillan.
Where they lost their presious lives

1 The morning of the sail.
2 The childrens hearts were joyful
3 When they heard of the news
5 Upon Lough Sillan waters
4 That they were going to have a cruise.
They parted friends and parents.
Not knowing what was going to be.
That their pleasant day would terminate
