    Going through Shercock we were a delight;
    Coming round by Cullies we made a delay
    Our flags they did wave and our bands they did play.

    Coming round by Coroneary we made the earth shake,
    The grand orange pillar fled into the lake.
    Before he could see us his eyesight did fail,
    And the horrors of music soon ended ONeill.

    O Neill he died dancing of a merry decay,
    He took his ordination from Billy's birthday.
    He was a false preacher who dwelt in Knockbride,
    But the green flag of Eire soon knocked him aside.

    There came 80,000 to meet us at skeagh
    Where our forefathers dwelt and were banished away,
    Our clergy they met us, our flags we rehoisted;
    And they band played it up we are the Catholic boys.
