    This pious grand foundation
    Has made the habitation
    Of the vile broot creation
    Likewise the feathered race
And for to speak with cander
    This place divide of splendour
    Yet still majestic grandeur
    The hollowed temple place
    The blustery winds of heracy
    Back up by impurity
    Of Luthers art and skill
    These British spoilators
    And vile assassinaters
    That almost dragged her down
    It has withstood all storms
    Of enemy's alarms
    In spite of every harm
    Of devil or of Dane
    This pious institution
    Defied all persecution
    Of novel revolution
Thats on the hill of Slane
