the graveyards contain very old tombs except the Quaker graveyard. It contains the tomb of Sir Coote. Most of the tombs in this parish are ornamented with a cross. On the cross is usually written the person's name and also the date and year of birth and death. All the crosses are made of marble. There are no disused graveyards in the parish.
Unbaptized children are buried in one corner of a graveyard. These graveyards are still in use, There is no tradition connected with the local graveyards. Local families still use certain graveyards even through the distance is great.
