- (continued from previous page)like tea and the water used. The root of the [malderoogan?] is a good cure for the heart. Wormwood is a the herb for killing worms in children. Boil and drink the water.
Grogan uisce, the tops of broom and butcher's broom all boiled together and the water drunk is the cure for disease of the kidneys and bogbine will cure kidney trouble also. Boil it, drain of the water and take a drink of it every morning.
Pileplant will cure piles. Dig, wash and boil in milk and water and take a glass of the mixture every morning.
Touch-me-not is a sore which comes on the finger. This can be cursed the following way:
Get a delicate flower, the Touch-Me-Not, mix with hungry grass, a pinch of salt, and soot, also the bulister of the churn, bruise them up together between a board and a stone and put it on as a poultice and sleep on it. Then the cure is made.
The dandelion is a remedy for nerve - Touch-me-not is a sore which comes on the finger. This can be cured the following way:
