  1. The cowhouse I know is Mr Mulligans It is situated in the yard at the back of the house. The walls are made of cement and stone and the roof is slated. There is one window on it. Two big doors are situated on the front. The floor is made of cement. A wide trough is in the middle of the floor. This holds the cow's manure and is cleaned out every morning. This cowhouse is made to suit six cows. In it are six vertical stakes to which the cows are tied by means of chains. The stakes are made of wood and are of a round shape.
