  1. We have a churn at home. It is called "the barrell churn". It is twenty years made. The names of the parts are the frame, the axle, the valve, the cover , the wheels and the handle.
    We churn once a week in winter and twice a week in Summer. The Churning days are Monday and Friday. My Mother makes the churn. When any one comes in he makes a "dreas" to help with the making of it. It takes about a half an hour in summer and about three quarters of an hour in Winter. The churn is made with the hands. It is made around end over end. There is a little round
