6 "Churns". We have a churn at home and it is called the staff churn .It is about three feet and a half high. It is also about twenty inches across the top and bottom.It was made about sixty years ago.The parts of the churn are the whoops ,the staves ,the cup,the staff,and the lid.There was never a mark put on it.We make ti twice a week in Summer and once a fortnight in Winter .We all make a "dreas " of it.If any body comes in he makes a "dreas" of it too.It takes different times to make.We make it with our hands.The churn staff is worked up and down.We know when we hear the milk splashing below(continues on next page)- Collector
