  1. There was a monthly fair held in Rossmanagher years ago. One day while the fair was in progress two police were walking up and down, till about, then a magpie flew over the people. There was a man named Murry at the fair who threw a stone at the bird. Instead of killing the bird the stone fell on the policemans head and killed him. Murry got such a fright that he went to America. The policeman was seen afterwards by a couple of people.
