- There are two or three grave-yards in Cratloe. The most popular one is "Cruachán" which means the little hill of John. It is situated in the townland of Brick-hill and it is my own burial-place. In this grave-yard there is a vault and it is called "Bloods vault" because the family of the Bloods that lived in Brick-hill are burried there and the people of Cratloe say that they were protestants. There is another grave-yard in Cratloe called the "Cillín" it is situated near a place called the "Gullet" but there are not many people burried there now because the people that were burried there long ago their descendants have gone away.In a field in Portdrine there is a grave-yard for infants.
