When a child is making a bead necklace. First she gets a needle out through the hole of each bead and so on. When she pulls the needle out of the thread. Then she knots the two ends of the thread and then she has it made.
The bead bracelets are made the same way as the bead necklace but it is not made as big.
When I am making bricks I get square blocks of timber I get some nice coloured paper and I stick it on to the timber.
This is the way they make kites. First they get two light pieces of sticks and tied them together in the form of a cross. The upright stick should be sixteen inches long and the cross-piece twelve inches long. Let them cross two inches at the top. Then they used to fasten a loop of twine in the middle of the cross. Then there is brown paper glued to the cross. The twine should be long enough to come three inches from the kite when you draw it out with your fingers.
A tail should be added with a light tassel of paper at the end. The tail should be four or five feet long and then they tied spools of paper at intervals of eight inches.
