    The farmers never till it because they are afraid anything would happen to them.
    There is a story told about a man who dug up a fort about two or three miles from my house and as he was digging a briar cut his finger and he bled to death. Some people say that it is wrong to build a house on these forts, or on the track of a turf stack. I heard this story from Mr Patrick Needham aged (99) years. Cross Co Mayo
