    There is a dun situated in the village of Killadone about a quarter of a mile from my house. It is to the west side of the school. This is what my Grandfather told me about it, that it was from this dun it got the name Cill-A-Dun. It is also supposed that there was a chapel there in olden times, and from the Cill and the dun it got its name Killadoon. The shape of the dun is round and a wall of earth all round it. If you were passing there late at night you would meet a little woman
