boys go to a cabbage garden and take a few cabbages and leave them at the poor peoples door. This is the month of the suffering souls and some say that all the spirits that left this world come to their own homes on Hallow'een asking the prayers of the people. No blackberries are eater after that night as it is said that the devil spits on them.
