  1. There was an old man named McLoughlin, who lived out near Leenane. He used travel around from village to village and the people nick-named him "Biseach." Biseach was a famous runner.
    He ran the Biancoynie from a place called Gleann to Westport. That was a distance of fourteen miles. He wore no shoes.
