    the boy but (the girl), he caught her by the clothes. The smith who was working in the forge, came out with the red irons in his hands and he banished the dead boy.
    There were two smiths in this district long ago. Their names were Durcan and Gannon. Gannon was living in Louisburgh and Durcan was living in Drummin. Durcan's father was a smith. His forge had a thatched roof and his bellows was got in town. He shoed horses and asses. He mended pots and kettles. He was about seventy years when he died
