- The Tinkers also visit this district sometimes, They travel on donkeys and in carts, in families. They camp on the roadside. During the day they go around to the houses. The men ask for bottles, rags, and horsehair, and they give needles and pins in return for these. The women ask for eggs, flour, old clothes and other things. They sell holy pictures, paper flowers and other things. They sell cans and saucepans also.
