    Sir Roger Palmer used to give blankets and all sorts of clothes to his tenants every year.
    These landlords had agents and these agents were worse themselves than the landlords and any one of those agents who did not like the people or who wanted the land for some other one they would tell the landlord something bad about the people and the landlord would put them out of the land. The people could not do anything to improve their land or they would be put out of it.
