    Then pits are made for the big potatoes. This is how they are made. In the middle of the piece of potatoes, the farmers dig out a few ridges in a square. It does be about a foot deep. The potatoes are put in to the pit, and they are covered with rushes, repáts and clay.
    Early in Spring these potatoes are brought home. The poicín's are given to the cows.
