  1. We have an endoverend churn.
    When my mother is going to churn she skims the milk night and morning for a week. She gathers the cream in a bowl and when it is sour it is fit for churning.
    Then the churn in scalded out with hot water and while the churn is hot the cream is put in. Then a pinch of salt is put in because it is lucky.
