- Long ago houses were not made the same as they are made now. They were made with yellow clay. They were called mud Cabins.People used to get rushes from the bogs and dip them in tallow. People cut the rushes peeled them, baught the tallow dried the rushes and dipped them in the tallow. They did this(continues on next page)
