There is a big stone between this parish and Crookstown with the mark of St. Patrick's toes in it. You can cure chilblains by putting your toes in the mark. - Some home-made toys are said to be better than ones you buy. I made a lot of toys by fretwork. I once made a windmill and when you would pull it along the arms would turn around. I made it on a board and put four wheels on it.
