- In the year 1902 a great wind blew over Ireland. It did a great lot of damage in Phoenix Park. It blew down all the trees, blocked roads with trees and a lot more. It blew tops off houses an blew the roof off the ditillary in Tullamore which took over a year to mend. My father aged about 56 told me that story. School in Olden Times
