    residence, but they built
    other castles and houses
    when they spread their
    wings, like most of the
    Norman families.
    This castle is over
    70 feet high, with a look-out.
    Bishop Wadding born here -
    The Waddings also erected
    the castles of Ballyrane,
    Waddingsland, and Wadding's
    Castle in Wexford.
