  1. About 45 years ago while William Hore, Coldblow and his wife were coming home from town in a horse's car a heavy snow storm came on. It was the horse's best to go against it. The wife got so cold that she went into a house and stayed there all night.
The man went on home, but the snow came down heavier and before he reached home he was frozen to death. The horse went into an outhouse where he got warm. The children were perished at home and they had to do without their mother until all the snow was over.
