- There was a family lived near Killurin and in Olden Times they were landlords and this landlord anyhow was a terrible bad man and cruel to the poor people that lived next or near him. Well he evicted many of these poor people from their little homes which they tried to keep over their heads. He cared nothing for them but fired them out on the roadside along with their scanty belongings and no sooner were they out than the place was levelled and that evening grass seed would be sown over the homely hearth stones. Often times even to this day when ploughing out in the fields one comes across a stone and they take it up and find it is a heart stone. Even poor widows were fired out on the road and they had to go around begging. Well some where about the cross of Lambstown this landlord evicted a poor ould widow woman and threw her(leanann ar an chéad leathanach eile)
