    Ruins o Old Churches.
    No 1
    The Chapel at Kilkevin, Castlerea dates back to St. Patrick.
    We are told, that the thatched church at Kilkevin (built) by the united efforts of St Patrick and St Kevin, was built, dedicated and mass celebrated on its Altar within one week of the date of its foundation.
    This Church at Kilkevin was burned down.
