    Marriage Customs Contd
When the supper was over the man of the house went round with a can of water and any one who wished had some of it. Then the music began and the dancing. They all used to be happy and merry until the clariaks (?) straw men would come to the door. The captain would come to the door first and call his men round in numbers. Then he would ask for the married couple to come to the door. The captain and all the men would wish them good luck. The person that was inside would go outside with a can of water and divide it round on all the men. After they would have one or two drinks each, they would all go away quietly.
