The priest did not know what to do or where to go. Someone suggested to him to go to a neighbour's house and hide.

He happed to be very sick in bed when he got the news that the soldiers were on their way to the rock. He jumped up out of his bed, saddled his horse and went to meet the soldier with a few other men. When they were near the soldier he rode out and fired on him
