    The father went to his Parish Priest, and got an office made. The Priest told him that the little girl would get all right, but that the best cow he possessed would have to go at any time.
    Some day's after the cow got sick, and died. They forgot all about the faries, and they cleaned the cow, and salted her.
    They put down the cow's head boiling, and when it was boiling along the fire a poor man came in.
    He asked a charity, and she gave it to him. He asked her what was in the pot, and she said that it was the cow's head.
    He gave her a ring, and she took the lid off the pot, and looked
