  1. In the townland of Greenaun, in the parish of Ardagh, in the county of Mayo, the next townland to Ballymanagh there lived a man. His name was Harrison. But he died since Deannachr Dé te na Anam. One night in winter when this man was about fifty or sixty years of age, he heard a great noise of cattle running and jumping. He got up and went out to see what was the matter.
    When he went out there was nothing wrong at all. The night was very calm and all the cattle were lying down quietly in the field.
