- In the townland of Greenaun, in the parish of Ardagh, in the county of Mayo, the next townland to Ballymanagh there lived a man. His name was Harrison. But he died since Deannachr Dé te na Anam. One night in winter when this man was about fifty or sixty years of age, he heard a great noise of cattle running and jumping. He got up and went out to see what was the matter.
