- The farmer ploughs the land and he cuts the 'slits' in every hole which the farmer makes with his 'sribin'. The 'tiarain' that are left are given to the hens and pigs. Then the holes are smothered with a spade + left there to grow. After some weeks the young stalks appear + then the 'sevs' are ploughed + the potatoes are 'laboured'. Before this is done manure is spread on the ridged when the stalks are grown bigger they are 'moulded' + left to grow for three or four months.
