- (ar lean ón leathanach roimhe)In those olden times all the farm in the townland were occupied by protestants Wilsons in Mr Pat Walshe's place, Moores in Miss Walshe's and Branaganes in (Drohan's) place. There are eleven families in the townland, seven cottiers and four farmers. Three of the cottages are new ones with red tiled roofs. The other four have slated roofs. The farm houses are all slate roofed. Two of them are two storied and the other two are of the Bungalow type. The total number of people in the eleven houses is 87. It is a fairly fertile townland with a very small amount of bog. It is [?] to average as tillage land and the same could be said about it as grazing. There is only one person over 70 and he has no Irish.
