Long ago the sort of brush used was about twenty pieces of h heather tied tightly with a piece of string. The sort of vessel instead of a cup or mug was a wooden vessel called a noggin and the plate was also made of wood. The spoon was also made of wood and it was very few houses that chairs were used it was nearly all stools or sit on the flour. The sort of table used had only two leg and heanges and the table was hanged on the wall and let down when wanted.- Collector
